TECH DAMP ™  FD-100 is a damping foam composite designed to reduce resonant noise in sheet metal or other thin structural members. At only .22 lbs/ ft2, TECH DAMP ™ FD- 100 offers excellent damping properties while adding minimal amounts of weight.

TECH DAMP™ FD-100 has a viscoelastic foam core sandwiched between a high modulus aluminum foil and a strong pressure sensitive adhesive to allow for easy application. When TECH DAMP™ FD-100 is applied to a vibrating surface any resonant noise will be significantly decreased. TECH DAMP™ can be fabricated into ready-to-install parts for customer specific applications or available in sheets.
